Each semester, the teachers take the students in each of the two earth and environmental science classes on a field trip to the biggest zoo in the USA. This field trip is a fun experience for everyone. The teachers love this trip, as it is more fun than educational, but you still learn a good amount. Plus, you have the opportunity to learn so much, from about the animals to the habitats that the animals thrive in.

The field trip takes place on May 4, when everyone gets to the school and on a bus at 7:30 in the morning.

It is extremely rare to go on field trips in high school, and it may be the last one that these students get to go on in their schooling career. This is why most students are usually pretty excited to get to go on the trip.
