Baseball Playoffs

Seniors Last Day

Our 4 seniors on the OHS baseball team are off to a great last season and are going to the playoffs. There overall stats were 14 wins and 6 losses. The playoffs were home against J. H. Rose from Greenville, NC, scheduled to play at 6:00 on May seventh. Sadly these seniors only got to experience the first round of playoffs on their last year because we lost 15-3 in the first rounds that night against the school from Greenville. Our seniors this year include Dante Defranco number 2 and plays infield, Luke Riley number 6 and plays pitcher and outfield, Colin Guentensberger number 9 and plays outfield, and Tucker Joseph number 18 and plays catcher and pitcher.

Overall they had a good season and good experiences with each other and the games and people they got to see and the after wins bus rides. Everyone was very sad that the season has come to a close but these last 4 years they have had will last a lifetime. Even though it was a sudden end and was not what the players had hoped for it was the end to a great Orange High School Panthers Baseball season.
